Enver Brandt's regular position is a wing.
He made his senior debut on 28 March 2015 for the Free State XV in a Vodacom Cup match against Boland in Heidedal, Bloemfontein. He scored two tries in the Free State's 52-15 victory.
He made a big impression as a loan player for the Griffons in the Currie Cup competition in the First League in the latter half of the 2015 season. Enver played his first game for the Griffons against Boland in Welkom on 29 August 2015. He scored three tries in eight games for the Griffons.
But it would be for Griquas (2017-21: 40 games/34 tries) where Brandt established himself as a top player. In his first ten games for Griquas in the SuperSport Challenge series, Brandt scored nine tries in ten games, including a hat-trick in the quarter-finals on 2 July 2017 against the Eastern Province Kings in Kimberley. And with the kick-off on 22 July 2017, Enver scored two tries in a Currie Cup match against the Blue Bulls in Kimberley.
Therefore, it was no surprise that Hawies Fourie, the Toyota Cheetahs' head coach, lured Brandt to Bloemfontein at the end of 2021. In a training match on 6 November 2021 against Zimbabwe in the Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein, Enver went on the field in the second half and scored three tries against the best that Zimbabwe could offer. In two Toyota challenge matches, he scored two tries on 17 November 2021 against Diables from Barcelona and three days later - on 20 November 2021 - against the Sharks in Bloemfontein.
He played left wing in the Toyota Cheetahs' first Currie Cup match of the 2022 season on 15 January against Griquas and right-wing in the second match on 2 February 2022 against the Blue Bulls at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria. He suffered a groin injury against the Blue Bulls, which kept him on the sidelines for the rest of the Currie Cup season.
