In each year the attendance has either provided a sell-out or set a new   record with last year’s game at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium raising that figure to   46,092. The fixture itself set a number of records on the field with Leinster   Rugby and Scarlets combining for the highest total of points (72) and the   highest number of tries (9) ever scored in the Championship decider.

Leinster also set themselves apart from the rest of the pack winning their   fifth title to step clear of Ospreys who have claimed the trophy four times.
